Wise Owl Website Re-Design

Hi all! Although it has been a while since our last blog post, we are still very much active! We are delighted to share with you all that we have completed the redesign of the Wise Owl Website. This was an exciting project for us, as it required us to work off something we had already produced, this time with new requirements. We are very happy with the result, and you can view the site here.

The redesign was not without it’s challenges, but we believe we have managed to project a professional image of the play school into the online domain.  This one of the things we were most conscious of, as to design a site that reflects the enjoyment and fun had by the children at Wise Owl each and everyday while maintaining a professional image was particularly challenging.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the manager at Wise Owl, Jenny Parsons. As alluded to above, she had a number of specific requirements for us to look into, and we did our best to meet all of these. As an example, Jenny was very keen to cut overheads with regard to printing, so asked to allow the users of the site to read the brochure and prospectus online. We therefore worked had to install responsive document readers, that allow users to print with the click of one button if they so wish, but also allow for clear and easy reading on any device. We also included easy download links for the user, to allow them to store a copy of either document and read on their own device if this is what they preferred to do.

We really hope that Jenny is pleased with the site, and certainly early dialogue we have had with her suggests that she is. We are proud of this re-design, and believe it represents our ability to adapt to, and your freedom to design, whatever your requirements might be. If you feel like your site is in need of a refresh, or that you don’t have one at all, please get in touch with us – don’t delay!
